BEWARE OF YOUR PATIENT RESPONSIBILITY, IF ANY. This office owes me about $500, which was quoted as a deductible during the intake. I advised them that I do not have a deductible, just a copay, but I will call my insurance to confirm. My insurance stated that it appeared the deductible applied but the final determination of coverage would be made at claims submission. I agreed to pay and once the claims were processed, we would revisit the matter. We received the explanation of payment from the insurance, and I was correct, my responsibility was not subjected to a deductible, just a $30 copay. I provided the office with this information, including proof from my insurance company, as well as, my insurance company called and emailed the office with the same info. This has been going on for months now, and Jim Stevens, "executive director", who handles the billing, needs a demotion. He ignores calls and emails. He is extremely unprofessional and unorganized. The owner, Jeffrey Cohen is non-existent but should hold his employees accountable. As far as the treatment itself, Dr. Fleischer is very good at her job and has a lot of experience in the field. Make sure to confirm your benefits prior to services.
