I recently had an eye exam and got a new pair of prescription glasses at Shine Optique in Williamsburg, and the experience from start to finish was very solid. The eye exam felt thorough and comfortable, using traditional equipment and a distance chart on the wall, which I personally found easier on my eyes. The glasses themselves made the biggest difference — the vision feels clear and sharp without eye strain, headaches, or discomfort, even after wearing them for longer periods. When I picked them up, the frames needed very little adjustment and fit well right away. The look and feel were exactly what I was hoping for, and I find myself wearing these glasses much more often instead of switching to contacts. The staff were attentive and helpful throughout the process, and I was also able to use my FSA there, which was convenient.
