I have been trying to get into see Dr Farag for months and when my appointment get close they cancel, my last appointment I had to cancel because of the snow storm. So they said the next Available is the end of march, so I asked if he could call me. So I waited and no call, I called the next day and they said yes, he will call you and still nothing. So I called today and was placed on hold for a long time I had to hang up. If the Dr can’t be bother to call his patients back I don’t know see the point in going to him any further. Do better!

I don’t know what’s going on with Dr. Farag but the care and office has severely declined. My dad just got an endoscopy in April and he was fine. Fast forward to May 11th, he’s on the way to the hospital bleeding from his butt and passing out from how much blood he lost - 2 bags of blood were given to him for recovery. He had a stomach ulcer after doing another endoscopy after he was admitted. My dad had been complaining of discomfort since March and after the hospital visit, it still took almost 2 weeks to get seen there. I get he’s busy but after emergencies, there should be a window for after hospital visits to be seen. Also side note - I went there in 2019 and their job was to run my insurance to make sure I could be seen without extra costs. They are within network but there’s some weird tier system when you work for Northwell and can’t see tier 2 doctors. I was not aware that he was tier 2 and now I owe $600. Maybe they should’ve done their jobs? I worked at a few doctors offices and we ALWAYS run the insurance. Office staff is always rude on the phone too. Please do better.
