When searching for a therapist, my main objective was to find a black therapist that can relate to my struggles. Not only did I find that but the business is black woman owned and operated. My experience with SG Wellness has been nothing short of amazing. I’ve been seeing a therapist here for three years who has always been upfront and professional. I’ve made tremendous progress with her assistance and doing my part. There is a variety of counselors you can choose from once you read their bios. Also, they sometimes offer group sessions that focus on specific topics which I find helpful. Overall, I really like this place and the work they do. I recommend SG Wellness to any individual looking for a qualified therapist.

Since meeting my therapist Alisha at SG I’ve been able to really breathe again. Identifying more parts of me I didn’t even realize were there. Actively working on ways to be better, learn effective methods to manage my emotions but progress in life overall. At a time where our identifies are under attack, feeling like I belong and having a professional understand you without nuances lost in translation is VITAL!. Wish I could do in person but virtual sessions have been doing me well! Would definitely recommend for women, especially Black Women navigating the world, career and motherhood whether in your 20s-30s or even 40s.
