I did not select this surgeon, I just walked into the ER at Lenox Hill, found out I need immediate surgery, and there pops up Dr Dolgopolov. Visually and clearly annoyed that he's there on a Friday night. He could not care less whether I felt OK, how I was treated post surgery, if I was recovering OK or if I was given the appropriate amount of antibiotics (I wasn't...). All I had was an appendectomy but ended up with a heart condition that I'm still struggling with years later, that has landed me in the ER at least 4 times... All he and his office ever cared about was getting paid. Not to say that they shouldn't, but they were harassing me for over a year because they didn't file the paperwork correctly with my insurance. So, there you have it. An absolute sorry excuse for a doctor. UPDATE: The doctor's office commented "not true", though my cardiologist and the multiple ER visits say otherwise. He should have his license revoked...crook
