My family has had a truly wonderful experience with the afterschool program here. From the very first day, the staff made it clear that they genuinely care about the children and the families they serve. The team is warm, attentive, and deeply committed to creating a safe, engaging, and supportive environment. As a former afterschool program director, I am admittedly hypercritical when it comes to the quality of care and supports provided to my child. Because of that, I do not give praise lightly. This program has exceeded my expectations in every way. My child comes home excited to talk about what she is learning, the friends she is making, and the staff members who show her so much care each day. She has picked up new hobbies and interests because of the many clubs and enrichment experiences the program offers, which has been such a joy to watch. The program strikes a thoughtful balance between academic support, creative enrichment, and social emotional development. The staff take time to know each child as an individual and communicate openly with families, which makes a tremendous difference. It is clear that Commonpoint is not just running an afterschool program. They are building a community where children feel seen, valued, and encouraged to grow. I am incredibly grateful for the positive impact this program has had on my child and would wholeheartedly recommend the afterschool program at this location to any family seeking a nurturing and enriching afterschool experience.
