My whole family, 5 people, are patients of Dr Appel for the past 10 years. She is attentive, knowledgable, with great bed side manners and wonderful office staff. I highly recommend her !

Waited an hour or more to see the doctor in a packed waiting room. Called in, given a basic vision test, informed them that I am allergic to anesthetic eye drops. They are supposed to just accept this fact, and proceed anyway. Instead, I was made to wait another 15 mins, before Dr. Appel took me into another room and told me with a smile: “you’re the first person I’ve ever turned away”. And she literally led me out of the clinic. After all that waiting, and just because of a simple allergy? Horrible. I’m tired of incompetence being the new standard.
