My wife came out worse than when she went in. She lost weight, got a UTI, they treated her without the authorization of the DPOA, using the wrong medication, she was not out of bed once during her stay and I couldn’t get a chair she could sit in. The firemen who came to bring her home noted she was lying in soiled sheets and when we got home questioned if she should be brought to the emergency room because of low blood pressure and high heart rate possibly caused by dehydration. They should have known from day one they were not capable of helping her. They ignored my advice as being my wife’s caregiver for 13 years now.
