My issue was not with the doctor’s bedside manner, which was good. My issue was with the office follow-up. After responding well to a Trelegy sample, I spent weeks trying to find out whether my prescription had been sent, whether prior authorization was needed, and what the actual treatment plan was if it was not covered. I got different answers from the pharmacy, insurance, and office staff, and the communication from one staff member was repeatedly rude and dismissive. When someone is dealing with breathing problems, this kind of disorganization adds a lot of unnecessary stress. I hope the office improves its communication and prescription handling, because this experience made me decide to seek care elsewhere.
