Bad business preying in desperate and vulnerable people seeking help! I came to Rave Psychiatry as a single mother in crisis seeking help for myself and my daughter. As you may know, it is extremely difficult to find care right now so I was pretty desperate. After an extremely confusing and misleading intake process where my calls were directed to an out-of-office operator, I finally got an appointment! Problem is… Rave psychiatry has partnered with SouthEnd Psychiatry, a tele-health company, that now manages it’s clients so all appointments are virtual (this was not disclosed to me until after my appointment was scheduled). After a couple of appointments when both myself and my daughter, in a vulnerable position, began to develop a relationship with our therapist I received a TEXT that our therapist didn’t have the capacity to see us anymore. I do not want to start with another therapist. My 5-year-old daughter has developed a relationship with her therapist. We never should have been placed with her if she couldn't accommodate another client. This has been extremely harmful to myself and my daughter.
