They will bill you there and then may still send you a bill after which does not make sense because you are not allowed to see a doctor or get any service or step near the back room unless you pay. Dr. Monica is intelligent & lovely, she told me she is not a doctor she is a Physician’s Assistant although the office will refer to her as Dr. Monica. Be informed for yourself in case you want to see a Doctor. Dr. Castillo I haven’t seen in years. When I had concerns when I was younger he shrugged it off and didn’t suggest a dietician or any other help. My dad helped me out with more information than he did because diabetes runs in our family. My dad was more of my dietician. If you are fine & healthy that is wonderful, just be prepared if you have concerns, they won’t be further addressed. Another AMAZING doctor that listened to my concerns and helped me so much left Queens Medical in less than a year. The amazing, great doctors tend to leave. I’ve been here for 13 years so I noticed. The GI there demands cash copay only - no doctor is supposed to enforce a specific kind of payment so beware - you will not be seen until you pay cash first. I was told to go walk to an ATM.

Went to a Dr visit on a Monday and and to have a form fill out. the form was filled out wrong by the incompetence, rude and unprofessional, unorganized staff working there. Fast foward to two weeks later and still no form. I have spoken to different staff, one named "Senai" (very rude and unprofessional) puts me on hold without letting me know and kept me on hold for almost 25 min. Including the medical assistant and she blamed Dr Castillo for not doing his job. I asked to speak to the office manager and mrs. Senai lies and tells me neither of them are in the office or the medical assistants. Wow, no one went to work today except her lol. 2 weeks and they cant even fix their simple mistake they made but the patients have to pay for their lack of work. Can some one please retrain that staff.
