Terrible Experience – Stay Away from Fresenius Kidney Care (Jackson Heights) I would never recommend this center to anyone. My experience here has been nothing short of a nightmare. They violated my HIPAA rights by discussing my personal medical information out in the open, right on the treatment floor with other patients around. That alone should be a huge red flag. They changed my schedule multiple times without notifying me, causing constant confusion and disruption to my routine. The staff often speak in another language — especially when something is wrong — which feels like a tactic to avoid accountability or explain mistakes. It leaves patients like me completely in the dark. There’s a severe staffing issue — not enough nurses, especially on 1st, 3rd, and 4th shifts. The place is clearly understaffed, and it shows in the way they handle patient care (or fail to). I’ve even felt discriminated against at this facility more than once, which is absolutely unacceptable. Transportation has also been a mess. On multiple occasions, the car service didn’t show up after dialysis, and I was left to walk home with no help from staff — most of whom seemed more focused on leaving for the night themselves than checking on patients. On top of all that, this place has a bug problem. There are flying insects in the treatment area — which is disgusting and unsafe in a medical setting. As for their so-called dietary monitoring, they were clearly making false assumptions about what I was eating based on lab results. It just felt like they didn’t care to understand or support my actual needs. I no longer trust this facility with my care. It feels like they’re only interested in billing insurance, not treating patients with dignity or respect. If you or a loved one is considering treatment here, please think twice. You deserve better. ⸻ Let me know if you’d like to post this somewhere (like Google Reviews or Yelp) or if you’d like to file a formal HIPAA complaint.
