Dr. Inna Abramova is a great doctor. However, the front desk on her floor, not so much. When signing electronic consents, they gave me one in a language I did not read. When I asked for an English version, instead, she turned the screen to her and said “its ok”, then proceeded to sign the consent for me. Essentially forging my signature on a consent I did not read. Highly illegal. Of course, I expressed being unhappy about that. However long down the line, when my brother went for a visit, they were telling him about my visit and that I was very “explosive” on them because they gave me a form in a wrong language. Completely failing to mention that they forged my signature and that is why I got upset. AND by telling him about my visit and me being there, they VIOLATED HIPAA IN A MAJOR WAY!!!!!! So good luck when you get hit with that fine :)
