Progressive Urology Brooklyn

This office is horrible. We had an appointment with Dr. Chalik. We showed up 30 minutes early. They collected our co-pay, made us wait for over 2 hours, then cancelled saying the doctor had an emergency. We rescheduled for the following week. They cancelled again. They never treated us. We never met with the doctor. I asked for a refund of the co-pay, and still have not received it two weeks after we paid for a visit that did not happen. I am about to report them to our insurance carrier to get them removed from the network and the New York State licensing office. Very unprofessional practice.

I like that the waiting time isn’t long and the professionalism. They are also very hands on and try to get to the core of medical issues. Also, they very good on reminding one of their appointments. My appointment was for six months and they called me to remind me, I myself had forgotten. I love their service.

Don't get me wrong I like Dr Raykhman, great doctor. However this company billing practices are horrible. Billing department nowhere to be found, only voicemail. And when you get a call back they act like doing you a favor. I was charged a deposit for the surgery due to insurance deductible. Insurance paid the bill around a week ago vi electronic transfer and I'm owed around $800 refund. But they just refuse to pay it back claiming there are maybe another claim processing. When I made deposit it was for the surgery deductible only not for any other claim (with other insurance company). So word to the wise, NEVER LEAVE DEPOSIT. They will find reason not to pay it back. Just find another doctor, there are plenty.

I was waiting for my results for one month, no one called me ,when I called first they said we'll called you back, they did ,said my results are ok and after that charged me and Insurance company for "televisit" . In normal practice office call you to say about results and WILL NEVER CHARGE you when you called just to get you results ! Total disaster!

I had a 5:00 appointment with Dr. Raykhman and arrived at 5:09. I asked how many people were before me at that time and was told 3.. Finally at 6:35 I was called in. After 10 mins I notice that I hadn't seen the doctor walking around. I left the examining room and asked the front where is Dr Raykhman was and low and behold I was told he went home that it was 7:00. So I was pawned off to another physician. I got my co-pay refunded back to my card and I left. Why make the appointment if your not going to be there!!!!! My time is just as valuable.
