I feel so fortunate to have access to this type of care so close by. Everyone at PRM has been amazing and supportive. The clinic is so nice and I’m a huge fan of them using ultrasound to guide the injections. Highly recommend checking them out for pelvic pain.

I was really excited to try this place. The reviews spoke highly of this office. Unfortunately, my visit was no where near that. I believe Dr Leishear has good intentions in helping but her bedside manners left me not wanting to explore a future appointment with the office. The consultation left me feeling like I was being heard but not understood or validated. Everything that I was told during my visit are things I’ve been hearing since being diagnosed with Endo. Towards the end of the visit it felt like I was being pushed to take a treatment I truly didn’t understand and felt uneasy about. the doctor noticed that and failed to inquire further or clarify. Even my partner who is a third year medical student left confused and disappointed. Instead of exploring alternative treatments to the injections and respecting patient autonomy which to my understanding is a part of the Hippocratic oath they brought in a pamphlet and said you’re free to go. There was no follow up on specific history that was taken during the visit such as resources to follow up with mental health or nutritionist information. The doctor passively mentioned you need to focus on diet but gave no specifics. This was clearly a display of paternalistic medicine an archaic way of dealing with patients that begs the need for more empathy especially when claiming to be a pelvic pain specialist center.
