Postgraduate Center For Mental Health

Pre-pandemic, and for about three years before then when I first started to become associated with this Post Graduate Center, the services were amazing and if I needed extra money for food, I was able to get it through vouchers They also helped my child & I pay out rent by covering half of it,They promised me that they would help me go back to school & find suitable housing and they seemed to have mean it but then things started to get strange and they made me go through drug tests Mine you I’ve never been addicted to anything but TV & food. I was forced to urinate in front of a female that I didn’t even know, even after passing the test, I was never linked up to any type of training nor housing . All I wanted/needed was to be trained in a short term receptionist training program or something similar that would allow to work while sitting to work for a stipend so I could make ends meet. WARNING :If you have a mental illness and need help to redo your life, please stay away from this place they do not care about you. It’s all about them. Ms. Nadine Graham was such a beautiful person initially and then she started behaving like she didn’t give a darn about us Yeah, she was my caseworker and I loved her like a daughter, but sometimes people do changed!!

My Friend stays in the supportive housing through here and his experience has been the worst. They denied his family visitation when his father died, after he got it cleared a month in advance. His fridge broke they allowed him to use one in a main area and then got upset they had to unlock it for him so they sent him to the hospital. Then they filed a $5000 loan from the state in his name and never told him. Now he owes money to the state and they refuse to give him his rental records or explain why they did that...he has been threatened by staff and followed around the building, sent letters threatening eviction for no reason other than hes requesting documents and knows if he hands his in they will never give it to him...his mental health has actually been declining since he moved in. He was much more, happy and moods where more stable when he was homeless and that's sad.....
