CARLOS
I have been a recipient of supportive housing services from PIBLY Residential Programs, Inc. for the past 5 years. During my time with PIBLY, I have NOT received PROPER assistance as an individual diagnosed with Borderline (BPD), Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), and Major Depression. Although PIBLY’s mission and vision statements emphasize empowering clients. In practice, I have only received housing, without access to many of the advertised support and rehabilitation services. I have had 7 different caseworkers in 5 yrs making it difficult to establish continuity of care and trust. This high turnover rate has adversely affected my emotional and mental stability. Communication with PIBLY staff sucks. Emails are ignored and apartment visits are unreliable, frequently being rescheduled without notice. Essential maintenance requests for my residence at 116 E Mosholu Parkway South, have gone unaddressed for extended periods despite multiple attempts to resolve them through proper channels. Additionally, there have been issues with timely receipt of my allowance checks, which on occasion have been delayed or withheld without adequate explanation. Scheduled checkups concerning medications, home safety features, and other welfare assessments are not conducted. They lack professionalism and do not align with the standards expected of an organization serving vulnerable clients. The current Program Director, Christian Muniz, and Supervisor, Paul Smith, have not consistently ensured that staff responsibilities are fulfilled. My documented communications over the yrs demonstrate a pattern of insufficient response, inadequate follow-up, and a lack of meaningful engagement in helping me achieve greater independence and well-being. Recurring issues with the program have driven me to seek therapy once again. I am trying to do and be better. But this program slows me down. And Pibly is NONE of this.
