Pediatrics For Queens & Kings

When you call the office you get redirected to a a different office that later redirects you to them. The receptionist is rude , thinks that she can belittle ppl. I was told to come at 8:30 as a walk in to vax my newborn. When I show up they tell me that no one told me that and that they can’t help me and then magically they offer 11am. Later receptionist says “idk what you understood” first of all your staff told me to show up at 8:30am. So respectfully I decided to take my child somewhere else. I wanted to like this office since I grew up here in this office but the staff was not it. Let’s not normalize hiring ppl with little etiquette for bigger roles.

Back in the month of June I got sick with COVID prior and my 3 year old daughter had a consistent fever for a week which was very unreasonable. I grew worry with time of constant calling the office and not knowing her results. However after me finding out I was positive at work it was my obligation as a concern parent to know why my child had a non stop fever, stop to think she might have had covid as well. I called in the office insisting to speak to the doctor and they kept telling me she was busy with other patients. If I’m telling you I’m sick with covid and there’s children in my home isn’t it mandatory as my child pediatrician to follow up on how to be precautions or try to inform me of her results and why she continued to be sick. These are children you dealing with not adults. I was then immediately transferred to her line and she was rude enough to tell me she “had no time, had other three patients in front of her” I understand you may be busy but can’t you not find 3 mins of your time to get results. Then she said I can’t make assumptions based on me having covid. Ofcource I can if my child has not gotten any better over a week fever. She was super unprofessional and her name is Gupta or I may be wrong but she is Indian. She not my daughter regular pediatrician. On another not today my daughter went for a check up and I’m the office they gossip to my mom that I was being rude to the doctor. I think unprofessional for them to speak upon someone when not present let alone childish when they know the full story and I was just being concern parent. I was never disrespectful to the doctor like she was I even found myself having to tell her to lower her tone and I wasn’t arguing.
