I visited Dr. Finger’s office on the recommendation of my opthalmologist, who told me she saw a “freckle” in my eye, which turned out to be an eye tumor. Dr Finger explained his diagnosis and the surgery that he could perform to treat the problem, in a calm, clear, and reassuring way that helped allay the high anxiety I felt. He took the time to answer all my questions about the medical procedure and what the experience would be like. His staff was amazingly supportive and helpful in arranging the necessary PET scan at a local imaging center and in just being kind and caring throughout the entire pre-and post-operative procedures. My surgery went well due to Dr. Finger’s skill and expertise, for which I am eternally grateful.

I am a patient of Dr. Finger and am most grateful Ito have had him treat my choroidal melanoma with brachytherapy. I found Dr. Finger’s bedside manner excellent, and I trusted his expertise as he diagnosed my cancer and clearly explained treatment options. The large screen high resolution monitors for image review and visual aids he used were most helpful. On day of surgery (there were two procedures) I spoke with Dr. Finger beforehand and he briefed my family at the hospital on how I did. I found all members of his New York practice helpful and professional. I traveled hundreds of miles from out of state to seek Dr. Finger’s care and have sincerely appreciated being under his care. Dr. Finger truly cares about his patients. I appreciated all of Dr. Finger’s podcasts, videos and on line resources. They helped me understand and to better cope with my diagnosis and treatment.
