After years of dealing with pain and the feeling of "walking on a broken foot" my guardian angel showed up and steered me into Dr. Greenberg's office. Before him, No one could figure out why I felt what I felt in my foot. Test after test, MRI, Nerve Conduction tests, EWST, cortisone shots, a million different insoles bought and performed and nothing helped. I have one of the more inflamed cases of Plantar Fasciitis but in addition to this, I knew something else wasn't right. I sat with Dr. Greenberg during my first appointment with him and he listened and he listened more and then he paused and continued to listen to me address every area of my foot pain. He got on the phone with a colleague (a vascular surgeon) right in front of me and said "I have a patient with me and I am wondering if she could have this other condition". And although rare he sent me to him to do another test and sure enough that's what I had. I left in tears of joy that I finally had my answer as to why I barely could walk at times. He answers the phone and walks you through everything. He is so very smart and caring. He also quickly prepares his notes and assessments in the NYU Langone portal for patients to review. Right now, I am recovering from doing plantar fasciitis release surgery with him and so far so good. Shouts out to Desiree who worked her butt off dealing with my insurance company for the pre approval. I do not envy her job at all, but she rocks it!! The entire office staff is top notch. I can't thank Dr Greenberg and his staff enough!!
