Dr. Pamel performed multi focal cataract surgery on my wife 7 1/2 years ago, (rather than the mono focal). We feel he gave her a rush job pushing her to the multi focal option without thoroughly informing us about possible outcomes. The outcome from day one has been foggy peripheral vision, and generally her vision is cloudy. Her quality of life has been radically undermined; living with mental trauma, eye fatigue, loss of abilities to perform certain functions like driving, etc. We visited with more than 6 top rated practitioners subsequently and without exception they all told us that multi focal surgery has been problematic and they never recommend it to their patients. Consequently we have a very low opinion of Dr. Pamel!
