DO NOT GET THIS INSURANCE unless you have significant ability to pay for out of pocket medical costs, despite paying an almost $1k monthly premium. They refuse to pay for many of my medications, deemed medically necessary by my doctor. It’s also hard to find a provider who will take them. Don’t let their friendly branding deceive you. I really wish I would never have signed up with them, I’m just praying nothing very expensive medically happens to me while I have this insurance…. Because I know they would not have my back. The bad reviews are real, please believe us 💔 I was hopeful this insurance would actually be different, but it’s not.

absolutely the worst health insurance for low income families. I got a policy through get covered nj and my wife had a baby that same year. I was forced to pay 9k out of pocket to cover medical bills. They refused to pay the rest. after the bills were settled they actually took some money back from the hospital stating they over paid and the hospital started to send me bills again. Both Oscar health insurance and englewood hospital in nj refused to send detailed billing so I could understand what I was charged. STAY AWAY FROM THIS HEALTH INSURANCE.
