Finding the right psychologist can feel overwhelming, but my experience with Dr. Ortega truly exceeded every expectation I had. From the moment I walked in, I knew this was going to be different. His office is honestly one of the most unique and thoughtfully designed spaces I’ve ever seen in a professional setting. It’s not your typical clinical environment, instead, it feels warm, creative, and incredibly inviting. I have traveled a lot in my life and have learned to appreciate different cultures, and Dr. Ortega’s office is a fusion of cultures. Every detail seems intentional, and there’s a certain atmosphere that immediately puts you at ease. If you plan on visiting, seriously; don’t be shy about taking a moment to admire the space. It’s worth it. The office alone sets the tone for a comfortable and engaging experience. Dr. Ortega himself is exceptional. He is attentive, thoughtful, and genuinely present in a way that’s hard to find. You can tell right away that he’s not just going through the motions, he listens carefully, communicates adequately, and creates a space where you feel understood rather than judged. There’s a natural flow to the conversation that makes it easy to open up, even about things that aren’t easy to talk about. His approach is both professional and deeply human, which makes a huge difference. I also want to highlight Marisabel, his assistant, who was equally wonderful. She was welcoming, organized, and made the entire process smooth from start to finish. From scheduling to communication, everything felt effortless and stress-free thanks to Marisabel. I was also able to secure an earlier date for my evaluation simply by requesting it. If any spots open up due to cancellations, I called and made my request, and to my surprise, I received a call back the same day for an appointment the following day (i guess you do indeed miss 100% of the shots you don’t take). This made an interestingly challenging week feel much better. Marisabel’s energy and ability to communicate in a welcoming, professional yet very pleasant and friendly manner are truly exceptional. She’s truly a natural. Overall, this was more than just an appointment, it was an experience. Between the incredible environment, the professionalism, and the genuine care shown by both Dr. Ortega and Marisabel, I couldn’t recommend this practice more highly. If you’re looking for a psychologist who truly stands out, this is it. This is not a paid review, and I am not affiliated with the office professionally or personally. If you are willing to invest the time and effort to leave a detailed negative review, is it not fair to apply the same level of effort in writing a positive one when the service is indeed excellent?
