O. Alton Barron, M.D, P.C

I have been a patient of Dr. Barron's since 2001, when I first came to him with mallet finger. I am a professional flutist and the ER doctor who originally treated the injury gave me the exact WRONG instructions (use it, move it, type, play, etc). Dr. Barron saw my hand and said it should have been splinted for 6 weeks. He was able to repair my finger without surgery. I saw him again a couple years ago with a wrist tendon issue. He was so compassionate and reassuring, and my wrist was back to 100% because of his expertise. He specializes with performing artists and I give him my highest recommendation.

I almost never write online reviews of any kind, but Dr. Barron is so exceptional that I feel compelled. He operated on my wrist. Didn't operate on my broken hand (which he said would heal itself, and did.) He took care of my son's broken hand and my daughter's shoulder. (We are an active family.) And he provided excellent medical care in a most compassionate and reassuring manner. I have recommended him to several friends and they also rave about him.
