Dr. Laura is a bad doctor who i consider 0 doctor ethics.... they changed the zoom call from laat year. I waa an exvepfion because i have a hysterectony done couldnt move because i was spotting needed a letter from her because my insurance was going to provide transportation and unfortunately couldnt because they force me to go in person for the letter and i said no , so i could not get free transportation. Was saddened to learn that my PCP was no longer in this location but for my annual physical in July, I was assigned to see Dr. Ralph Rubio instead. I instantly didn’t get a good feeling from him but how bad could things go if it’s just a physical? He was condescending and placed doubt whenever I’d answer any of his questions. He examined my neck and claimed to have felt a lump. Referred me to get an ultrasound for the thyroid. Got that taken care of and went back to him to review the results. I was already experiencing various symptoms by then, of which I had expressed to him both times I saw him. Upon the results, I reminded him again and recommended that maybe I should get further testing done. Not only was he dismissive of my concerns, he also let me know that it wasn’t necessary to do so. Oh and again, said in a condescending tone. Thankfully I am a grown adult who advocates for herself and her health so I don’t have to listen to him and his lack of bedside manner and professionalism. From that point on, I went through several doctors until I finally got my answer: THYROID CANCER. I am currently 4 days post-op and Dr. Ralph Rubio shouldn’t practice medicine and treat people. He projected a miserable attitude when all I needed was some direction. A 1 star rating is too high for you. I will make sure to file a formal complaint as he shouldn’t even pick up his pen and pad anymore.
