First, I want to be clear: Allyson, Angela, and all the nurses are always incredible — kind, professional, and genuinely caring. This is not about them. This is about Vivo’s operations. Less than 10 minutes before my scheduled infusion, I was notified that my medication had not arrived. This is an important, recurrent medication that my care depends on. I had confirmed the appointment in advance and structured work and personal obligations around it. I received no advance warning, no meaningful explanation, and not even a basic apology. A same-morning “shipment delay” is not a sufficient explanation — medication orders don’t fail without warning. If something was ordered late, processed incorrectly, or not properly monitored, that’s an internal failure. Patients should not bear the consequences of operational errors, especially when continuity of care is at stake. A last-minute text does not meet any reasonable standard for a specialty medical provider. Transparency, accountability, and respect for patients’ time and health matter.
