NY Family Practice Physicians PC

I was the only one in the waiting room when I came here and waited 15 minutes to be seen which isn't a huge deal, but it's worth noting. Also, while the women at the front desk were not unkind to me, I did feel like it was pretty unprofessional for them to talk as loud as they were to each other. One non-black woman even said the N-word while describing a story to another co-worker. I just felt like that was really strange and felt a bit uncomfortable. The appointment itself was fine, although my time with my PCP seemed kind of rushed. Like seriously, it was less than 4 minutes long and she asked if I needed referrals to anyone after my check up. Like I don't know??? I wanted to bring up some issues I had that might have warranted a referral, but before I knew it, she was saying goodbye. She was really nice, I just don't feel like I benefited at all from going there and getting my first checkup there in 5 years because nothing was really even checked? She looked in my mouth and my ears, and listened to my heartbeat and that was seriously it. Someone else checked my blood pressure before my PCP saw me and gave me the readings, but nobody even commented on what the interpretation of the results were. I had to google the numbers after I left and was like... wait... I have hypertension? I only ever got contacted after my blood results came back and she told me my cholesterol was a bit high and I should try exercising and eating healthier and less fried food, etc. But my high blood pressure was never mentioned which was odd. I don't even have health insurance anymore, so I can't even say for sure whether or not I'll ever be back here.

Terrible manners. Staff doesn’t listen and gaslights you. If you’re a woman, avoid this place- your life literally depends on it. They’ve been ignoring my thyroid problem and a growth on my tonsil for about 3 years now. They won’t return my calls. I wait for appointments for over 45 minutes- meanwhile only one other patient is in the office. Disgusting. I’ll be reporting them.

Everyone was friendly and my doctor was sweet and knowledgeable

Downfall of American medical. This place is a joke. A sham. Terribly disorganized. Staff incredibly incompetent.

No doctors here just nurse practitioners . Diagnosis they give u are always wrong nurse Katey told me I had a A fib after an EKG and I did a breathing test and she told me I have a clot in my lung went to specialist they said I was completely fine and those were false finding . DO NOT GO HERE if you dont have too . Find a pra time that have actual doctors u like this one smfh
