NY Family Docs

My family member was seeing a nurse practitioner who was so good. My family member was given an appointment and when we showed up, i was informed there was no appointment on record but we had written proof that we did have an appointment in fact. Then to make things worse, we were informed that the nurse practitioner doesn’t work there anymore. We were never called for this big change. The front desk tells us, oh you can wait for the new doctor/practitioner but it will be a very long wait. The outgoing practitioner P. Salazar was so good at her job. Avoid this place at all costs.

Come here if you want your issues to be ignored and gaslit the whole time. If you’re female, your treatment will be less than their male patients. Icing on the cake: they’ll lie on post visit summary, claiming they spent time with you and really explained everything. In reality, you’ll leave after waiting for almost 40 minutes and get a hasty phone call over an hour later. Edit: just checked my post visit summary and the NP lied all over it. I think I’ll be filing a complaint.

I’ve been with them several years. They are the best New York family doctor. I’ve been over there with them over 10 years.

Dr. Alba is nothing short of professional. Thoroughly giving me details on my annual physical examination. As well as giving me honest opinions/ advice on how to be a healthier person overall. I highly recommend you give them a call and schedule with her. Fluent in Spanish too which is always a plus and allows any Spanish speaking native to feel more comfortable when seeing her. She is definitely my go to doctor moving forward!!

Amazing clinic NP Alba D is always incredibly attentive and thorough while also keeping wait times to a minimum. She always helps complete necessary work documents/ physical in a timely matter. It’s been years I’ve been going to her. She’s the best!
