This office is great and they use a lot of new tools to really show you the work they are putting into their patients. Dr. Fernandes was kind and showed me a 3D scan of my teeth and explained what should would be doing and also her recommendations. She suggested that they remove an old filling that was starting to crack to prevent a bigger issue in the future. The process was very smooth and my teeth have felt great since my visit a few weeks ago.

I went to a sister practice that they had on Central Park west, both run by the same office manager. They are entirely unprofessional and do whatever they can for money. I was having a tooth extracted, and they told me to get a certain type of bone graft substance in case I ever wanted to get an implant placed there. I told them no and just to extract the tooth. The dentist went ahead and extracted my tooth, and while sitting there with a literal hole in my mouth, they doubled down and told me it was highly recommended even though I’ve had a previous tooth extraction. They then quoted me $700 for just the bone graft filling. The dentist was then being very pushy and assertive, telling me “just put it on a credit card! You need this!” I felt entirely pressured and uncomfortable that the person I trusted with my health was being pushy. The audacity of a medical professional to tell me, the patient, how to pay for my own services that I declined twice. Unfortunately I gave in and paid for the $700 born graft but I wish I hadn’t. I felt powerless. And since I’m already in pain and inconvenienced, to know that they wouldn’t accept “no” as an answer was disheartening. On top of that, I turned to look out the door and saw the office manager watching the entire interaction, as if he told the front desk associate to push for the sale. These people have no morals and no care for their clients. Avoid at all cost.
