This is the best medical department I have ever been to. I have had to see multiple specialists at the Neuroscience institute over the past year and I could not be happier with every single one of them. Dr. Palak Patel is amazing and spent a full hour with us to help us with my health concerns. Dr. Zacharatos did the same and explained my MRI results in great depth and detail to help me understand. I have never felt rushed and every time I go for an appointment, I feel so assured that I am in good hands. I almost look forward to my appointments just for the relief I feel in being taken care of by these doctors. They have each shown appropriate concern for the level of seriousness of my health conditions, yet they always reassure me of the positive aspects of my situation and help me feel confident in the future. I cannot recommend the Neuroscience Institute strongly enough and I'm so grateful for the attentive and professional care I have received there. I would give 10 stars if I could.

I visited the JFK Neurology Department in Edison on June 11th around 5:35 p.m. The front desk staff that was located farthest to the left seemed distracted and giggling with the security guard before we approached. When we asked for help, the security guard rudely interrupted about a line, even though none was clear. The staff member helped us but was impatient, rolling her eyes and giving vague directions, which led us to the wrong elevator. When we got lost, the security guard loudly called out again, drawing attention. After we left, my boyfriend overheard him making a rude comment about us, stating, “he’s definitely in the air” and also complaining about us walking up, which was seemingly to impress the staff member, as they continued to giggle throughout. In my opinion, they were flirting, At one point, someone passing by seemed to imply the guard shouldn’t be there, as he defensively said, “I’m not bothering her. I’m keeping my distance.” It seemed like this was a recurring issue, and for good reason it had been brought to someone’s attention before. I hope this feedback helps improve future experiences.
