Sinida Chaparro
My physical therapist McKenzie Pert performed my initial evaluation after my arthroscopic hip surgery, and I was very happy with her care. She was attentive, gentle, and had a very good bedside manner. She listened carefully to my concerns and made the evaluation feel thoughtful rather than rushed, which I appreciated given how vulnerable you can feel after a surgery like this. That said, I did leave the experience with some frustration. After a few visits, even though I still had appointments scheduled with her, I was switched over to a different physical therapist without any clear explanation. Consistency can be really important during recovery, and many patients naturally feel more comfortable continuing with the provider who initially evaluated them. McKenzie herself was great to work with, and I would absolutely recommend her based on the quality of that interaction. Just be aware that you may be reassigned to another therapist, so it’s something to ask about if continuity of care is important to you.
