Dr. Kurlansik was wonderful with my child. She really listened to my concerns and the needs of my child and was very accommodating. She was patient and made my child comfortable. It made our evaluation so much smoother. After the evaluation, we had a better understanding of my child and we continued to research, learn and buy items that would help support his needs. If you are considering to work with Dr. Kurlansik I would definitely recommend.

We had a wonderful, thorough and very supportive evaluation process with Dr. Emily. She listened intently to our history and challenges with our son. She asked follow up questions, responded with care and honesty. When we had our IEP annual review, she was ready to get on the call, spoke with clarity and advocated for our son's services. She and our then 13 year old had a trusting relationship, it was amazing how quickly she understood and described him so accurately in our follow up calls. We utilized the recommendations and resources she provided and were really lucky to have such an extensive end of the evaluation report. Dr. Emily did suggest that we enroll our son into more specialized, tailored independent schools to support his academic and social needs. However, just financially, that was unfeasible for us. We were concerned we were making a mistake enrolling him in a larger public school but are happy to report, it's been working well- partially because Dr. Emily pressed the Special Ed. Services Coordinator that our son needed supplemental resources.
