CWM
Doctors, NPs, PAs, RNs are all top notch. But I have been waiting 8 hours to get a returned call from Patient Relations director, Mr. Cabrera. I called at approx 1 pm to lodge a complaint against the apathetic supervisor at the first desk upon entering Interventional Cardiology. Mr. Cabrera secretary listened to my explanation and told me he would call back " in a few minutes". At 4:30 I called again abd was told he would call me back "in a few minutes". It's now 9 p.m. Call me crazy but I don't think he's going to call. And this is a perfect example of "poop rolls downhill". No wonder why the Supervisor at the Interventional Cardiology desk would not come out of her office and speak to me after I complained to the young lady behind the counter that a gentleman was eating a sandwich and drinking a smoothie right underneath the "No Food/No Drink" sign! Literally! The young lady conveyed my message to her supervisor and her supervisor sent her back to me to say "he is allowed because he is between procedures". Huh?? Really? While there are patients sitting there who haven't eaten in 10 hours, but it's OK for him? What?? I was there for my cousin, who was getting nauseous from the smell of the food. Why the hell is the sign there, and in what world is that a reasonable response? Give the man a room to eat his lunch in and follow your own damn rules. So, it is no surprise that 4 of the 5 napkin dispensers in the cafeteria were empty, or that all the hooks on the doors in the bathrooms are gone, and that Mr. Cabrera in Patient Relations probably won't call me back. Like I said, poop rolls downhill.
