Many physical therapy patients come in with pain and a heavy mood, and I was no exception. I have a serious lumbar spine condition, but from the moment I started coming to STARS Rehabilitation – Bayside, I’ve felt truly comfortable, supported, and cared for. Everyone here is kind, patient, and professional. The front desk is welcoming and helpful, and the therapists create a calm and encouraging environment that makes a big difference during recovery. A special thank you to Chih Huang, my physical therapist. His knowledge, patience, and attentive care have meant so much to me. He also speaks excellent Chinese, which has been incredibly important for me—being able to communicate clearly in my native language has made a huge difference in my recovery and comfort. With Thanksgiving here, I’m especially grateful to him and the entire team. Highly recommend!

I came to STARS Rehabilitation Bayside for severe neck pain that affected my ability to work and mobility. I cannot thank Dorena Schneider enough! After an extensive consultation she created a tailored, progressive plan and provided great one-on- one care. She always asked how I was feeling and adjusted therapy according and pushed me when I needed it but was always mindful of my pain levels. I always felt better after each session. She loosened the tightness and released tension in my neck. The exercises she prescribed helped me to strengthen my posture and the muscle needed to prevent more injury. Dorena is knowledgeable, intelligent and has a great attitude. Highly professional and effective. Highly recommended her for anyone looking for knowledgeable, compassionate care. The STARS Rehabilitation Bayside staff are friendly, and the environment is very welcoming. From the front desk to the therapy team, everyone is caring and well-trained.
