I went to New Hope for a few sessions back when I needed help getting over a messy breakup that coincided with a major life change. I was paired up with a counselor that was smart and empathetic, yet knew exactly when to turn my statements on their head and force me to look at my situation in a completely different way, which made it seem a lot less overwhelming. Their office is clean and very professional, the receptionist are also pleasant upon greeting you and they have drinks and snacks, which makes you feel immediately at ease. Sitting on a couch in the rooms and talking to your counselor feels much more natural than being forced into a sterile, clinical environment. Though I went for individual counseling, they also offer couples counseling and therapy sessions targeted for children. I've recently referred two friends to New Hope and they've both been extraordinarily pleased with the care they've received at the center. And the most anxiety-reducing feature of New Hope (besides the therapy itself, naturally) is the staff. When I walked in for the first time after making my appointment, the receptionist made me feel so at ease, i did not feel judged. Each and every person I communicated with was helpful and attentive. I have been using New Hope's services for the last 6 months, and am so happy I made the choice to come here, as I have been to other counseling centers that have a more office and unorganized feel. This was far from it. 5 stars in my book!
