I’ve been seeing Social Worker Mathew Gee for the last 7 months for multiple issues, some were depression from caring for my mother who recently passed from Alzheimer’s, watching the slowest goodbye to your mother does tend to be depressing, anxiety and child trauma, in that 7 months I became comfortable enough to open up and discuss things I’ve NEVER discussed with anyone, so I thought we were making progress. I’ve rescheduled two sessions in a 7 month period, one time because of back issues the other for unexpected oral surgery, a few weeks ago I text him that I got my days mixed up, I’m so sorry , I had a important event to attend, an organization founded by mother was having their annual Gala and I needed and wanted to go. So this would be my third request to reschedule in 7 months,however giving him 24 hours notice Below is his response that I copied and pasted from my phone. With all due respect I will not be giving you another date you've played w/my schedule (which is very tight) multiple times. Please do not text me My response to him was simply I won’t contact him anymore , I encourage current patients and future patients to move on to someone that really cares about your dignity and mental health, bottom line is, he abandoned me.
