The Nicholas Center in Pleasantville, NY is a wonderful place where everyone is treated like family. Our son has been attending this incredible program for the past three years and it has been life changing for him. Each day he is learning life skills, job readiness and the importance of giving back through volunteering with local businesses and nonprofits, which have given him a sense of purpose and more confidence. But the heart and soul of The Nicholas Center is the staff. They are a very special group of people who truly care about each and every participant. Their passion, dedication and creativity is evident in everything they do so that our kids can continue to thrive. We are so very grateful to be part of The Nicholas Center family!

Our son has been attending The Nicholas Center in Pleasantville for almost 2 years now and I am so grateful he's able to be a part of this unique and amazing program. Across the board, the team has been caring, enthusiastic, knowledgeable and creative. There's a great range of positive role models for my son -- both among the staff and among his peers there. The Nicholas Center has developed community partnerships with some of the best organizations across Westchester, enabling my son to participate in truly meaningful volunteer and vocational training opportunities. The Center fosters an environment of positivity and constant learning, on and off site. Our son is so proud of the work he does every week, the friends he has made, and the organization he has become part of. It has become a very important part of his identity. I truly can't recommend The Nicholas Center enough.
