I had a disappointing experience at this clinic today. I came in seeking treatment for what appeared to be an allergic skin reaction. During registration, I was informed that the clinic did not accept my insurance and that the visit would cost $120 out of pocket. Since I was not expecting this expense, I decided not to proceed with the appointment. Before leaving, I politely asked a nurse whether my symptoms might be something that could be managed with an over-the-counter medication from a pharmacy. At that point, the doctor responded in a very dismissive and unprofessional manner, stating that because I was not paying for a visit, he would not tell me anything about my condition. I completely understand that medical advice requires a paid consultation, and I respect that. However, the way the situation was handled felt unnecessarily rude and lacking in basic courtesy. A simple and professional explanation would have been much more appropriate. Patients deserve to be treated with respect, regardless of whether they ultimately proceed with an appointment. Unfortunately, this experience left me feeling unwelcome and disappointed.
