Mount Sinai Beth Isreal

My visit to the Radiology department was disappointing. The receptionist, nurse, and radiology technologist all came across as cold, dismissive, and impatient. Rather than feeling welcomed and cared for, I felt like an inconvenience. I understand that healthcare professionals have stressful jobs but patients often arrive feeling worried about their health. A little kindness and professionalism can go a long way. Unfortunately, that was not my experience here. The only positive was that my appointment started on time

Receptionist was on point. Here for it. The nurse that took my vitals was lovely. She did her best and actually listened to me regardless of the language barrier. Loved that. The woman after the nurse didn't listen at all. She marked me for incorrect symptoms. Then suggested Advil. The doctor was slightly better but only because he seemed like he cared. He asked for certain tests to be run and then actually forgot that I was even there. The lights in the room had even shut off. That test was neglected would/should have showed that I had a bladder infection but since it didn't happen, I was also prescribed the wrong medication. Very bad service. But I'm bound to get sick again, so let's see how it goes in the future, haha.
