I've been really impressed with the Montefiore office I go to — it's a bright, modern space with warm and efficient staff, and my appointments have been on time and easy. But the real reason I'm writing this review is Dr. Gover. My mother was an internist with her office next to our home so I grew up with a sense of what thoughtful doctoring looks like. Dr. Gover has that same quality. When she took me on as a patient, she didn't just hand me a standard intake form — she did a real whole-patient assessment, listened carefully to my history, and we built a game plan together around some pending labs and what the options might be. What stood out most was her patient-first approach. She never steered me toward anything that felt like it was about maximizing revenue — in fact, she went out of her way to make things convenient, like prescribing a 90-day supply with multiple refills. When my lab results came back, she responded promptly, asked for my perspective first, and then shared her own insights and recommendations. I've left every visit feeling like a partner in my own health, and energized because of it. I'd recommend her without hesitation.
