Crystal Barnes
I arrived at my child’s 3-month pediatrician appointment 2 minutes before the end of the 15-minute grace period. Upon arrival, the new kiosk check-in system was in use, so I was directed to the front desk. I promptly informed the clerk of our arrival, and she attempted to reach the doctor for over five minutes. Eventually, the clerk informed me that the doctor declined to see my baby, stating she was working a half day. I was disappointed by the lack of flexibility and consideration, especially given that we were technically within the grace period and made every effort to check in on time.
