Simone Teodoro, psychiatric nurse practitioner, gave me a full hour for our recent first appointment. She was very friendly, easy to talk to and a great listener. I am completely satisfied with Simone as my provider and highly recommend her. I am looking forward to future sessions with her.

My sister used to see Dr. Bjorkman and she was by far the worst psychiatrist my sister has seen. I knew that my sister was most likely misdiagnosed as I was told by a previous psychiatrist, and so I came to Dr. Bjorkman seeking her help to correctly diagnose my sister. Time and time again I would email and call her to ask for updates, and it got to a point where I received no response for weeks. I had no communication with my sisters psychiatrist and my sister is unable to make decisions on her own due to being mentally ill. I once heard my sister on the phone with Dr. Bjorkman for a visit - yeah, no video telehealth visits, no face to face, just over the phone.. and guess how long the call lasted? Less than a minute… she quite literally asked my sister how she’s doing and that was it. I couldn’t believe the audacity to actually charge my sisters insurance for a 30 second phone call. Dr. Bjorkman ended up transferring my sister to another facility near us that didn’t even offer psychiatric services but only therapy!! she said she would speak to the facility to initiate the transfer but never did… For months I had been asking for a correct diagnosis as well as a medication change, but she didn’t care to listen. She so obviously didn’t have the capacity to take on my sister as a patient and so she tried to cut ties as quick as possible. if you didn’t have the time, why did you accept her as a patient in the first place?? absolute waste of time during a critical period in my sisters life. if you’re looking for adequate care and a physician that looks out for you, don’t go to this woman! finally my sister has the correct diagnosis and is receiving the right medication, no thanks to you Bjorkman
