I love Dr. Yang, truly. I first had upper eyelid filler done by him almost eight years ago, and it remains one of the best aesthetic decisions I’ve ever made. Unfortunately, that fact was recently underscored when I allowed a different doctor to perform upper eyelid filler. That experience only reinforced why I should have never strayed from Dr. Yang. I have been seeing various cosmetic doctors (each for varying functions) regularly for over 14 years, and Dr. Yang is hands down the best I’ve ever had. His bedside manner is sweet, calm, and incredibly comforting. More importantly, you can genuinely tell that he cares about his patients as people, not just procedures. As for his actual craft, Dr. Yang is a true artist. He is meticulous, thoughtful, and precise. He uses a cannula, pauses frequently to check in, shows you progress in the mirror, and builds the result with you. He is conservative in the best way, always choosing to undercorrect rather than overcorrect, which is exactly what you want in such a delicate area. In contrast, my recent experience elsewhere felt rushed, impersonal, and ultimately unprofessional. The procedure was done quickly, without collaboration or care, and the results turned out very poorly. I only went because the before-and-after photos looked almost too good to be true, and unfortunately, they were. This experience made it crystal clear. I should never have left Dr. Yang. If you are considering him, especially for something as sensitive as upper eyelid filler, trust me when I say you will be in the best, safest, and most skilled hands possible.
