My family & I have been patients of Dr Cintron for over 20 years - while he was still in private practice. Excellent doctor but extremely difficult to get an appointment sooner than 2 months at this new location. So never mind being seen for any concern that requires immediate attention. He's very thorough in testing to see what the problem could be. His demeanor is calm and he listens to concerns and answers questions. My family member has had several endoscopies and colonoscopies by him without any complications so far, thank God. The con of these procedures is that they're now performed at LIJ Forest Hills which isn't a good hospital and it smells and looks unclean. The pro is that if there's a complication during the procedure, maybe they will be able to help since it's a hospital. As far as having issues with the front desk staff, I think that would be better addressed with whomever manages them. They could be friendlier. They seem too busy to be bothered with tending to patients but they will help.
