I am very happy with the way the surgery went. Dr. Zoland is a very talented surgeon, and I couldn't be happier that he was recommended to me and performed my procedure. The facility is very clean, everything ran on time like a well-oiled machine, and everyone was incredibly helpful and attentive. At some point after my IV was inserted, I started feeling light-headed (something that happens to me due to my fear of needles), so I called for help and a nurse came in right away — she lifted me up, gave me a button to press if I needed assistance again, and chatted with me until I felt better and the feeling passed entirely. The anesthesiologist and the surgeon were also very thorough in explaining the process, which made me feel supported, calm, and ready for the procedure.

The people at the facility who care for you are lovely and kind to deal with, the surgery went well. However, the facility called me and asked me to move my surgery from a day that was considered in-network to the following day which was considered out-of-network. I was told they had checked and I would be charged a specified amount and not to worry. Well 8 months later they got around to sending me a statement that was approximately 25% higher than originally being told. Don't they deal with insurance everyday? But sure tell someone one amount and wait months and charge them 25% more than you told them. Poorly done.
