Despite the many reviews mentioning poor front desk interactions, I decided to call because the doctor's reviews were strong. Unfortunately, my experience reflected what others described. There was no greeting, no warmth, and the staff member was short even when I asked detailed questions about the practice and process. The doctor may be amazing, but first impressions matter, and I don't want my family subjected to a poor experience. Immediately after, I called another pediatric office in the area and was met with so much warmth and a genuine congratulations, which made a world of difference, and influenced my decision. Dr. Itzkevitch may want to consider the impact these front-office interactions have on the practice's reputation and ability to attract new patients.
