If you need hip surgery, Dr. Ast is the absolute best doctor to go to!! My husband had hip replacement surgery and Dr. Ast and his staff were professional, knowledgeable, and responsive. After interviewing a few different doctors, we knew he was our guy. He put us at ease throughout the entire process, and the surgery and recovery went so well that my husband was instantly out of pain and within a week he was walking pretty well and within a month he was walking a mile. Not only are Dr. Ast and his staff amazing, but HSS was also so great. For such a large hospital, we were treated so well and did not feel like a number. From pre-op to post-op the entire staff was caring and attentive. Their technology is so far above the average hospital and they took great measures to ensure your safety. Even the incision healed so quickly due to extra precautions. These professionals and specifically Dr. Ast are absolutely top notch and I would recommend highly.
