+MEDRITE Midtown West Urgent Care - Manhattan

Came in for an 8 am appt and receptionist ignored us. When we asked to check in she told us to use the kiosk even though I’d already pre-paid and checked in online. Upon further questioning she reluctantly booted up her computer, then told us that the provider was stuck in traffic. At 8:45 am the provider strolled in with a fresh coffee that he’d evidently stopped for. At 8:55 we were finally seen, not even by the provider, but by an assistant. Finally, the provider came in, didn’t even bother doing an exam, just referred us for x-ray. Also, the lights in the waiting area are painfully bright. If it were any one of these things it wouldn’t be a big deal, but taken together it’s not a good sign. Will try one of the other Medrites next time I need Anthem-covered urgent care.

Amazing experience. I went in, waited 5 minutes, saw the doctor within 5 minutes after that, and had meds in hand within 20 minutes. Efficient and was covered by my insurance so I only had to pay a small copay. Staff was nice and efficient. Doctor came in for 1 minute, listened to me, and prescribed the meds. I appreciate this efficiency that is so often lacking in u.s. healthcare. Thank you!

Eva was so helpful. She was so kind to my son handled him with so much care and made sure that she gave him The exams he needed to take so that we can uncover what needed to be done for him to feel better. She was so professional… I have seen Eva here for a very long time and I am so happy every time I see her even when I am not feeling my best she makes me feel better when she helps us. To whom it may concern, Unfortunately, I ended up again at this Med rite on 42nd street once again. I waited over 30 minutes. I was not fully triaged. Only my pressure was checked . After another 15 minutes practitioner Teresa came ,I did not her title , she give me the flu shot and left . The nurse came in after another 15 minutes said to leave . I said I need to see the doctor. Teresa came in and told her my symptoms health issues, she never scrutinized me or see my symptoms. She said how she will send a prescription, I give her my pharmacy name “ Thriftway “ I went it the pharmacy today at 5 pm and there is no prescription. I went back to medrite . I spoke to the gentleman at Front desk , whom is very helpful, he checked the system and she never issued the prescription. He said how he will follow up with her tomorrow . What sort to practitioners is this , need not be there to help and care for parent. I saw a nurse practitioner on Friday. Schoenberg Dovid . He seem like a nice and informative practitioner. He gave me some med for the lower back pain. He suggested a shot which i declined. One of the med he prescribed need prior authorization. I called this morning and inquired if the office could help facilitate the prior authorization. Was told how I have to return to see another doctor. I ask a for additional pain meds. That was declining. On the prescription the doctor indicated a fax number instead of a phone number. I have reached out to my insurance and they were very helpful of reaching out to the doctor office. The office of med right did not respond. I wouldn’t recommend the urgent facility they are in for the money only.
