Rating: ⭐ (1/5) Headline: 20 years of loyalty gone. Do yourself a favor and go to Dr. McDermott. If you want to be treated with respect and seen on time, go to Dr. McDermott. They run a professional practice where an appointment time actually means something. I’ve been coming to Dr. Lederman’s office on and off for 20 years, but today was the final straw. I previously had to delete a negative review because they harassed a friend of mine to pressure me into taking it down, promising I’d "never wait again." That was a lie. I had a 3:00 PM appointment, was told I could come at 1:30 PM, and then sat there for over an hour while the front desk was abandoned. While patients were ignored, staff were in the back chatting. I even saw one of the PAs sitting in an examination room just hanging out on her phone. I even brought pastries from Filoncino to be nice—total waste of kindness. I watched THREE people who arrived after me get taken back first. One woman even walked in and announced she was "friends with Darlene the manager" and was immediately ushered in. Favoritism is not a replacement for a schedule. "Sorry" doesn't cut it when you’re skipping over 20-year clients to help your friends. To top it off, don't expect a tailored medical plan; they basically give everyone Clindamycin for everything. Save yourself the money and the aggravation. The kicker is that once you finally get into the room, the staff is actually very nice and personable—it’s just a shame the office is run so poorly that you have to endure hours of disrespect and favoritism just to see them. Note to the office: Do NOT reach out to my friends or acquaintances to harass me about this review. It is staying up. Learn to train your staff and value your patients’ time instead of just your "friends."
