Their service has gone way down. They never answer their phones. I had a doctor that had retired but no one informed me. When my child's pediatrician retired once again I wasn't informed then they gave me one of the rudest pediatricians Angela Glasscock who is extremely dismissive. Dr. Modi is very good and patient. Not only does she takes her time with the children she explains everything in great detail and makes sure you understand. My child broke her toe the foot doctor was great scheduling not so much....they gave me an appointment for a time after the clinic closed. In General their system lacks cohesiveness and things aren't getting. where they need to go and in the time they need to be there. I have brought stuff to the lab only to find out that they weren't open and my time had been wasted. I have to travel from Staten Island so I don't appreciate being given misinformation or no information. I only have my child there because if you find a Dr. that your child trusts and feels comfortable with as a parent you want to keep them. There are only 2 hospitals on Staten Island and they are both for profit which is concerning for me. There are many clinics and urgent care centers but all roads will lead back to one of the two hospitals. I have a better choice of hospital options with Cumberland and more services but if this haphazard service continues I will be forced to take my child somewhere else. I was a patient at Cumberland since the late 90's up until 2017. My child has been a patient since 2015. This use to be a great place to come and get quality health care but lately something is going horribly wrong and it's looking like it's on the side of administration and needs to be fixed.
